Building Bridges Education provides continuous, wraparound support from middle school through college completion, with the goal of ensuring students not only enroll in higher education but persist and graduate with strong preparation and financial confidence. As a student-identity-centered program, we intentionally address persistent disparities in college access, retention, and completion.
Through our College Proven and HBCU programs, we implement a four-part model: (1) early college exposure beginning as early as 7th grade to build aspiration and awareness; (2) sustained college readiness programming for students in grades 9 through 12; (3) college advising and career development support continuing through postsecondary education and graduation; and (4) HBCU access and pathways that connect students to institutions through immersive, high-impact experiences. Our work is grounded in the belief that students should not only access college, but arrive with a strong sense of identity, belonging, and purpose, equipped to thrive and succeed.
