DiscoverU
From Applicant to Admissions Officer
The Discover U Program is an immersive, research-driven learning experience designed specifically for 7th and 8th grade students. It provides young learners with an insider’s view of the college admissions process. Guided by higher education leaders; including Directors of Admissions and Vice Presidents of Enrollment, students engage in structured workshops where they analyze real application materials and assume the role of admissions professionals.
Using a case-study approach, participants examine academic records, essays, extracurricular involvement, and institutional data to develop a clear understanding of what colleges value in competitive applicants.
