THE COLLEGE PROVEN PROGRAM

From College Ready to College Proven
Identity-centered college access and persistence programming for students in grades 7-12

The College Proven Program is where legacy meets a larger vision: a comprehensive, grades 7-12 college access and persistence curriculum deployable through nonprofit organizations and school districts anywhere in the country.

Guiding Philosophy

College-ready means academically prepared. College-proven means something more: the knowledge, self-awareness, and strategic confidence to navigate higher education, make informed decisions, and persist with purpose once enrolled. Those are not two separate goals in this program. They are the same goal, pursued from 7th grade forward.

Identity is not supplementary to that goal. It is the mechanism. Historically underrepresented students bring aspirational capital, navigational capital and resistant capital built across generations. The College Proven Program is designed to activate what students already carry and connect it to the specific tools college navigation requires.

College Access & Persistence

Developing academically prepared, well-informed students who understand how to navigate the college admissions process with clarity and strategy.

Identity-Centered Navigation

Students learn to assess cultural fit, financial sustainability, and personal belonging so they can make informed, empowered decisions about where they will thrive.
