HBCU Welcome Reception
Join us for our official kick-off event for the Building Bridges HBCU Program. HBCU Leaders will gather in the historic Museum of African American History to connect with community leaders and kick off the 2025 Building Bridges HBCU Program.

HBCU My Brother's Keeper Student Forum
The HBCU My Brother's Keeper Student Forum is a gathering of high school scholars designed to inspire, inform, and empower students on their path to college and beyond. The forum will consist of sessions that features interactive discussions, guest speakers, and skill-building workshops that highlight college access, scholarships, leadership development, and the rich culture of HBCUs.

Building Bridges HBCU RoadShow
The HBCU Roadshow is far more than a one-day visit. It’s a catalyst for meaningful, long-term collaboration. By welcoming HBCU representatives to high schools or organization across the commonwealth that will provide the opportunity to:
Engage with HBCU Leaders who will share informative presentations about the HBCU they represent
Build strategic partnerships that helps to strengthen your workforce pipeline.

HBCU Legacy Gala
Join us for an evening of elegance, culture, and connection at the Building Bridges HBCU Legacy Gala. This celebration blends cocktail chic attire with HBCU pride, inviting guests to honor the rich legacy of HBCUs in style. Enjoy cocktail bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, live music, and a captivating art performance as part of this unforgettable experience. The night promises to celebrate excellence while supporting the future of HBCU excellence and meeting our HBCU partners from across the country.

Building Bridges HBCU College Fair
New England’s largest HBCU College Fair, will bring together more than 1,500 high school students from across Massachusetts. This impactful event connects students with representatives from over 20 Historically Black Colleges and Universities, offering a day of exploration, admissions guidance, and invaluable opportunities to learn about academic programs, scholarships, and campus life.

Building Bridges HBCU On-Site Interviews
The On-Site Interview Day offers students a unique opportunity to meet one-on-one with HBCU admissions representatives for real-time admissions decisions and personalized feedback. Students can submit transcripts and supporting materials in advance or bring them to the event. Many colleges provide:
Instant Admission for qualified applicants
Scholarship Consideration based on academic performance and leadership experience
Application Fee Waivers to remove financial barriers
What to Know: Interviews will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will arrive and sign up for available open-slot interview times. No Pre-Registration Is Needed!
