Directions provide students with pathways and possibilities for lifelong success. We believe that by offering personalized support, fostering student motivation, and aligning with emerging industry trends, we can empower students to navigate educational and career pathways and achieve their goals. Our program components provide students with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to thrive academically, personally, and professionally.

Student Success Summit
Our one-day summit provides students in grades 9-12 with a variety of dynamic workshops, panel discussions, and interactive sessions with experts and peers. Participants will learn and be inspired to embark on their journey to lifelong success.

Mentor or Advisor
Each student in the program is assigned a mentor and/or a career advisor who will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting each student’s professional growth and development. They provide guidance, share their experiences and knowledge, and offer advice and feedback to help the mentee navigate their educational and career paths.

Leadership Council
Student voice is critical to the success of the Directions program. Through the Student Leadership Council, students can actively participate in decision-making processes and make meaningful contributions to the program and overall mission of Building Bridges Education.

Internship, Externship, or Apprenticeship
Students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in career exploratory opportunities. Whether it is an internship, externship, or apprenticeship, students gain valuable practical experience in a particular field or industry. They serve as a bridge between academic learning and real-world applications, allowing individuals to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting.
